Júlia: I have a reservation in the name of Júlia.
Iris: Right. One moment miss. Miss. Ju… Júlia… yes…  A single room for six nights?
Júlia: Right. With an en-suit bathroom.
Iris: Yes miss. Could you fill out this form please?
Júlia: Of course… erm… I have a pen myself, thank you.
Iris: If you’d like to leave us your credit card details, we’ll charge your account when you check out.
Júlia: Ok,  so ....I don’t… I don’t sign it now.
Iris: No miss, when you check out we will fill in the amount and you sign when you leave.
Júlia: Oh I see. Yes, that’s… that’s fine. Here you are.
Iris: Thank you miss. Your room is 116 Mis. Júlia. On the first floor. Here’s your room key, and the elevator’s right over there.
Júlia: Thank you. Erm… do you have a map of the city centre?
Iris: Erm… Yes, here you are.
Júlia: Can you tell me where we are exactly? And how to go to the city centre? If it is better to take a bus or the tube?
Iris: We are here exactly and the bus stop is round the corner. The tube station is on the other side of the street. And you are at 10 minutes walk to the city centre. So it’s up to you how you want to go there.
Júlia: Oh, wonderful, thank you very much. We are not far.

-          It is on the second floor. Just in front of the lift. It is a very big and nice room with the view of the main street.

-          No, don’t worry. The room and the windows are very well insulated. You won’t hear noises unless you open the windows.

- Ok. erm... Yes, here you are. Guillem Prats.. with a single room for five days.

- Ok I’ve finished.

At night, when Mr Prats was sleeping a mysterious man get into the room through the window.

(When Mr Prats turns back the man has disappeared but some important papers have disappeared too.)

N: Yes. Do you have any one?
O: Of course. The room has a king-size bed and a safety deposit box.
N: Good. When we do the check out? Do you accept credit cards?
O:Twelve noon.  Yes, we do. Which one do you have?
N: American Express.
O: Yes, that’s fine. If you want me to give me the card details we can charge the amount in your account at the end of your stay.
N: Ok. Here it is my credit card.
O: Thank you very much for your help. Here’s your key. You’ll be in room 224 on the second floor.

REPORTING  A PROBLEM

O: No problem. Just plug the Internet cable into your computer, and you’ll have Internet to surf.
N: That’s a problem. My laptop hasn’t Internet port, it’s wireless only.
O: Hmm. Well, we have some alternatives, if you’re interested.
N: Yes, please. Tell me about the alternatives.
O: We have a computer lab on the first floor.
N: That’s great! How much is it?
O: It’s absolutely free for our guests. Except for printing, of course.
N: What about the other alternatives?
O: You could use your wireless laptop with the wi-fi  right here in our lobby.
N: And if I need to print there?
O: Well, we don’t have a printer in the lobby yet. You’ll have to use the computer lab.
