About me

I am Raul Cenan, I am 14 years old and I live in Juneda,I am Catalan and I am from Catalonia,I live with my mother and my dad is named Lucian and he works in MECA Sistem and my mother is named Aurelia and she works at les Obagues.

I have one little sister named Carina and is 5 years old.

Here in Catalonia we live in a flat with 3 bedroms 2 bathrooms,and in Romania he have 1 house with a big kitchen, 3 bathrooms, 4 bedrooms we have a big garden and a parking

We have a dog in Romania named Rex, but we want to adopt 2 dogs more.

My hobbies are playing video games like Fortnite and some mobile games like and Call of Duty Mobile and play basketball.

I'm Pep and I live in l'Albi, in a house. I'm 14 years old. I'm Catalan because I live in Catalonia. I have one brother his name's is Pol, he's younger than me. I live with my father, he is called Pep, and my mother her name is Mina. My father is 47 and my mother is 42. Mina works in l'Albi in a bakery and my father in Lleida. We haven't got any pet, but I want a cat.
My hobbies are playing football and paddle. These are the different activities that I practise every day. My favourite music band is Doctor Prats because I like catalan music. My favourite subject of school is P.E. because I like sport. I don't know yet what I would like to be, because I like a lot of different things.

Hi, I'm Ariadna Farrerons Garrido I'm 13 years old. I was born on the 6 of December. I live in a house in Les Borges Blanques at the moment. I'm Catalan and I'm from Catalonia. I have two brothers their names are Joel and Marc. Joel is 10 years old and he likes playing paddle and hoquey  and Marc is 7 years old and he likes playing football and paddle.

In my family there are five members: my mum, my dad and my two brothers. My mum is a secretary in the business of my dad and my dad is the boss of the business. The business is of construction. When I was younger I had 2 cats, 1 fish and a turtle, and now I have a dog, her name is Mona and she is 1 year old.

I enjoy meeting my friends and listening to music. In the future I want be a teacher of pre-school. My hobbies are playing paddle, skating and dancing.

My mom  is Cristina, she have thirty six years and she is a vet. My father  is Jordi, he is a builder and he have fifty two years old. They are divorced.

Hello, I'm Roger Gallart and I'm 14 years old. I live in Les Borges Blanques. I study in INS Josep Vallverdú high school. I do motocross and gymnastics, and my hobbie is computers. I train motocross on weekends and on Wednesday, and I train gymnastics on Tuesday and Thursday.

I have a brother his name is Sergi and he also study in Josep Vallverdú, he's twelve years old and he do football. My mum Judit is 46 years old and he works in Les Borges, and my dad Carles is 49 years old and he works in Lleida. We don't have any pets but I love all type of animals.

Hi, I'm Oriol Armengol and I'm thirteen years old. I'm Catalan and I live in Juneda. My birthday is on the 22nd of December.

I have two brothers, their names are Roger and Pol. Roger is the older one and he is 10 years old and he always is annoying me. Pol is the little one, he is 9 years old, and he is lovely. My father is called Albert. He's 45 years old and he works as a telecomunications technic. My mum is Carme, she is 40 years old. She works in Lleida, she works as a dentist. I live in a house. My house has three bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, one on each floor, one kitchen and one large living room.

My hobbies are reading, especially Mortadelo and Filemón comics, they're very funny. I also like go ciclying and if its with friends better. I like to listen to rap, its my favourite music style. I love playing padel and I train a lot and I often go to padel tournaments. So, this is all of me.

Hi, my name is Carla, I am 14 years old and I live in Les Borges Blanques. I'm from Catalonia and I'm catalan. My birthday is in the 27th of July. I'm a student of 3rd of ESO. I'm very brave and kind.

In my family we are four members: my parents, my brother and me. I don't have any pets. My brother is bigger than me and he is 21 years old.

I like doing a lot of things like: painting and drawing, meeting my friends, watching shows and films, listening to music, travelling, reading, and many more things. I also like playing games when I'm free. I don't like studying, dancing and singing.

English is one of my favourite subjects, and I chose this optative because I want to learn and train more things about it. Also because the English is very important and necessary for our lives.

Welcome to a new academic year 2019-2020

Dear new students,

Let me take this opportunity to welcome you all to Oral English Practice.  I hope you all have settled in well and are enjoying the beautiful experience of learning and sharing real English conversations as if we were in a virtual trip that is going to become true.

When I look back upon my last groups, I recollect the first day of the programme when I was absolutely enthralled and even intimidated by what I wanted to do. Since then, each day has proved to be a stimulating experience as I have worked closely with students of different paths of learning and discovered aspects of my personality that I was virtually oblivious to.

The Oral English Practice will involve a significant amount of academic work and will let you put theory into practice through the live projects that you will work on in your respective teams.

I wish you all the luck as you embark upon this wonderful journey and I look forward to interacting with you over the next few months.
