1st DAY DUBLIN-BELFAST
We woke up in Dublin at Paddy Wagon hostel. Then we prepared our bags and we went to take the bus.
We wake our first stop at Monasterboice, It was founded in the late 5th century by Saint Buithe who died around 501, and was an important centre of religion and learning until the founding of nearby Mellifont Abbey in 1142. We liked so much because the thombs were so pretty.
When we arrived to Belfast we did the world famous
Black Taxi tour to view the Peace Wall
and political murals. The peace walls are a series of border barriers in Northern Ireland that separate Catholic and Protestant neighbourhoods.
They did the murals to showed to the world their problems with Catholic and Protestant thoughts. The murals were amazing and we liked so much. Finally we did a lot of photos with the murals to our friends.
We visited highlights of the city including the magnificent City
Hall, Queen's University, Albert's Clock, Botanic Gardens and much more.
The Belfast City Hall is the civic building of Belfast City Council. Located in Donegall Square, Belfast, County Antrim, Northern Ireland, it faces north and effectively divides the commercial and business areas of the city centre.
The Queen's University is an important and prestigious university.
Albert's clock is a clock tower situated at Queen's Square in Belfast, Northern Ireland. It was completed in 1869 and is one of the best known landmarks of Belfast.
We also visited some gardens, in Ireland there are a lot of natural parks and wonderfull landscapes. To finish the day we have free time in the Victoria street and in all of city centre.
That night we stayed in the charming University Quarter a beautiful hostel in the city center.
This is a photo with my friend Ivan to a mural!!
