We celebrated HALLOWEEN 2018 !

This year we mixed a magic potion of fun and learning with some spooktacular Halloween games such as "bobbing for apples", "trick or treat" and "costumes parties" in the UK and the USA. We practised some frightening vocabulary of that spooky evening. We watched some scary videos to practice words such as,
JACK O' LANTERN, SPIDER, COBWEB, BLACK CAT, AN OWL, WITCH, ZOMBIE, MONSTER, GHOST, GHOUL, APPARITION, MUMMY, PHANTOM, POLTERGEIST, SKELETON, VAMPIRE, WEREWOLF, WIZARD, WARLOCK, THE GRIM REAPER, FAIRIES, GOBLIN, SKULL, CAULDRON, PUMPKIN, SLIME, GRAVE, TOMSTONE, CEMETERY, GRAVEYARD, BROOMSTICK, FULL MOON, WEREWOLF, SCREAM, BLOOD, DEAD, UNDEAD, NIGHTMARE, SPOOKY, SCARY, BLOOD CURDLING, SPINE CHILLING, HAIR RAISING,  GHASTLY, GRUESOME, GRISLY, HAUNTED, HORRYFYING, GRIM, PETRIFYING, REPULSIVE, MORBID, WICKED & EVIL SPIRITS.
Candy Corn - The typical sweets for Halloween
We ended our particular Halloween party eating some candy corn, singing songs and playing Kahoots! that revise the legends and customs of how Halloween began in its origins and how it is currently.
