Scotland 2014 - 4th Day

Our trip to Scotland

FOURTH DAY: We started the day packing our suitcases and leaving Glasgow to Edinburgh. We got on a train and we stayed there for an hour till arriving at Heymarket Station in Edinburgh.
We left our luggage at the hostel rooms and we started our tour in Edinburgh. We walked along Princess Street till the Scott Monument where we listened to the music from the bagpipes. We went on admiring the awesome views of the city till Princes Mall and crossing the North Bridge towards the Royal Mile. We saw some street musicians and performers before arriving at Saint Giles' Cathedral, where more pipers were playing music and a wedding was taking place there at that moment with lots of guests dressed with the traditional Scottish kilt. It was such a funny sight!
In the afternoon we went to visit the Tartan Weaving Mill and its Exhibition and the wonderfull views from the top of the Edinburgh Castle. We went shopping at the Royal Mile for a while and we ended the day at Grassmarket where lots of pubs had lots of people sat outside having a drink and making fun.
In the evening we went back to Grassmarket and enjoyed Edinburgh by night.
