Trip to Ireland - 15th April by Judit Collell

Day 5: Killarney - Dingle

This day, we embark on the world famous Dingle Peninsula.  We began the morning with a horse and cart ride through Killarney National Park. The park is very beautiful, there were trees, lakes and animals. Then we went for a walk at the town and at one o'clock we went to the bus and started the tour. First we went to visit Ireland's longest beach and then we went to Dingle (a fishing village). Dingle is famous because in this village many films have been filmed, for example, "Star Wars". In DIngle they have more pubs than in any other town of its size, 52 pubs and 2000 people. In the early afternoon we sailed in a ship and we saw a dolphin "Fungi".  The dolphin is the only dolphin in Dingle. Then we see a Slea Head, Sleeping Giant Island, and Beehive Huts. Finally we came back to Dingle again and then we go shopping. At night we had dinner in the same hostel we stayed. The hostal was good. Next to the hostal there was a pub. At night some students went to sing in the pub and we sang a lots of songs.
